My Car Accident Testimony

Almost 12 years ago I was run over by a car while riding my bicycle.
It caused a whiplash, triggered Fibromyalgia and non-operable nerve damage in my lower back.

This combination caused much pain, constant nerve pain and extreme tiredness, the 24/7 nerve pain is a big energy leak. Every year my health deteriorated a bit further.

Weekly was gone, slept all days and my short time memory was filled with holes. The loss of my sharp mind was something I could not handle, with a body that deteriorated more and more in all those years, my sharp mind was all I had.

Since October 2016 I was having spasms in hands and legs. in the academic hospital Radboud in Nijmegen, the neurologist came to the conclusion that the many years of nerve pain had generated my body to spasm. 

So my reaction was, “So give me more or stronger pain medication.” 
But that was not an option, because heavier pain medication is only used in the cause of short use by trauma, or patients who had a short life span. Just one more thing I had to accept and live with. That was my rock bottom…. 

The Summer of 2017 summer was a dark one.

But when you are at the rehabilitation, high doses of painkillers and the most diverse forms of alternative medicine, yoga and meditation, did not stop this process. 

Of Course, I started to look into healthy foods and nutrients for certain diseases and was aware of what I gave my body as fuel, including supplements with vitamins, oils and minerals.

But nothing really made a difference, my immune system was so bad that the ordinary flu could last 10 weeks.
I didn’t really have a social life, all my energy went to taking care of my husband and son. Visiting my parents or friends became rare. My body turned me a hermit.

I was rushed into hospital, doctors thought that there was something wrong in my brain. But it was an inflammation of the vestibular system. 
Because of my poor immune system, the symptoms were very severe, I could not remember the correct words to speak, my ever so sharp memory bottom, there is only one way….. And that is up!

A year before someone told me about RAIN, but I didn’t want to hear about it. I was eating healthy, taking my supplements and done with trying other things.

In September, during ASCEND Kroatia BEND was introduced and I got a new message; “Heidi, there is something new you MUST try!” And with nothing left to lose, I did.

With the flu I went to the first business opportunity meeting after kroatia and started with SOUL..
The fever lasted 5 weeks, I was feeling sick and every day I was in bed by seven ‘o clock. But then I was feeling more energy in the afternoon, it was an energy that I haven’t felt for years.

I started with BEND and discovered that with 2 SOUL and 1 BEND a day, my pain was less and my energy level went up! My husband got tears in his eyes when he came back from a business trip when I asked what was wrong, he said: “I see a light in your eyes that I thought I would never see again.” 

Now I am using only pain medication before bed, most of the days I do not use any during the day, I have more energy, less pain en more life! 
I can’t imagine a life without Rain anymore

Exactly one year after being rushed to the hospital, I went on a 21 day journey through 9 American States. 

A journey that I dreamed of for years but could not undertake because of my health issues. 
Brought two boxes of soul and one Bend in my suitcase of course!! 

So grateful to Byron and all the others who believed in the power of Rain and giving me my second lease on life!
