What is Social Impact?

In everything Rain International does we want to give back. Starting with when someone joins we plant a tree in their name. For every sale of every product goes a portion to the Seeds 4 Change foundation. The foundation is to add value to underprivileged lives around the world. Be that building schools, libraries, care centers and more. Or proving literacy classes, schooling and medical care to those that cannot afford it.

Since partnering with Musana in 2015 the results have been amazing in the help we have played a part in! See some of the stats on the results!

Electricity

Only 45% of Musana artisans had electricity before they were hired. Now 80% have electricity.

Communication

Only 6 out of 10 Musana artisans had a cell phone before working for Musana. Now 100% have a cell phone

Nutrition

Before Musana, the Musana artisans and their children ate 1.8 meals a day. Now they eat 2.4 miles a day

Children in school

60 children of Musana artisans have received primary, secondary, or vocational training thru Musana’s school fee program

Income

Musana artisans income has increased by 5x.

Savings

Savings among Musana artisans increased from an average of $1.30 USD to $42.65 USD. This means the average Musana artisan went from having enough saved to buy one meal to having enough to cover rent for 2 months!

Medical Care

Before Musana, artisans had no way of affording medical care. Now 100% report having good medical care.
