The fight to improve the world is only won one way: together. Musana has been one of our closest allies as we wage the war of humanitarian aid. And, we’ve been making some impressive headway.
1/2 an acre of perfect land was purchased in a remote village in Uganda. That land was cleared and leveled to service as the foundation of Musana’s workshop, a multi-functional space. It will not only serve as a home to the artisans who create Musana’s jewelry but will also be a tourist destination, selling their jewelry and special smoothies and improving the economy of the village.
How else are we making a difference?
Musana is also focusing their efforts on another deeply-rooted problem. Families in Uganda face extreme poverty, which severely limits their capabilities and creates heart-breaking situations. Many families with disabled children do not have the means to care for them. Facilities have been set up to assist those children, but many are turning into orphanages, finding children left on their doorstep almost daily. In a fight to correct this, Musana’s workshop will also act as an ability center, giving families of disabled children hope and a place to learn and grow together.
We understand that our efforts are but a drop in the ocean, but they matter. They change lives, they lift hearts, and we hope they inspire others to help as well. We will continue our efforts in order to impact as many lives as we can with goodness and wellness.
Partnerships
Dirt floors and grass huts provide the workspace of their Executive Team. Empowering, creating opportunities, and developing provide them with their motivation. Musana International is one of the rare companies in the world that practices charity more than they preach it.
We have teamed up with them too, not only help them in their service-oriented journey but to multiply our own efforts of changing this world one person at a time.
